We are pleased to inform you that the Scout Association of Maldives is organizing the 1st SAANSO Wood Badge Reunion at Maafushi, Maldives as per SAANSO calendar of activities 2019. It is one of the most famous inhabited Island which caters to tourists as well, which is also very close to many exclusive tourist resorts. This is in line with WOSM celebrating 100 years of the implementation of the Wood Badge.

Details are as follows:

Dates: 26th to 29th April, 2019

Date of Arrival: 26th April, 2019

Date of Departure: 29th April, 2019

Quota: 06 (Participants) only

Who can participate: Wood Badge holders in any section who are actively involved in Scouting/Guiding.

Package Registration Fee: USD 325 per person for 03 nights, on twin sharing basis. The above package registration fee per person is to be paid in USD cash on arrival in Maldives.

Registration fee includes: Airport Transfer in speed boat, which takes approximately 30 minutes each way and Accommodation on sharing basis, breakfast and all meals during the reunion period and free event souvenirs.

Airfare and VISA Charges: New Delhi to Maldives and back Rs. 32,000/- (approx)

Caution Money: Rs. 5000/- Non- Refundable if selected and not participated (Draft in favour of “Bharat Scouts and Guides” payable at New Delhi)

Last Date of Application: As the quota is limited, selection will be on the basis of ‘First comes First Serve’ the application for the above event should reach National Headquarters, New Delhi on or before 30th Jan, 2019. With Xerox copy of passport, application without caution money and Xerox passport copy will not be entertained.
