CIRCULAR NO. 59/2019 - NATIONAL ROVER RANGER MEET TO CELEBRATE THE 100 YEARS OF RANGERING.
To celebrate the centenary year of Rangering, The Bharat Scouts and Guides, National Headquarters is going to organize National Rover Ranger Meet scheduled to be held at Scout Guide Training Centre, Udainiwas, Udaipur, Rajasthan from 19th to 23rd August, 2019.
Dates - 19th to 23rd August, 2019 (05 days)
Date of Arrival - 19th August, 2019 before lunch.
Date of Departure - 23rd August, 2019 after lunch.

How to Reach - Udaipur is well connected with Railway line from Jaipur/Kota/Ajmer. From Udaipur Railway Station shared Auto are available for Divisional Headquarters in front of Ashoka Cinema, Suraj Pole which is about 02 km. from the Railway Station and fare is Rs. 10/- per head. Your participants travel itinerary may be informed well in advance to Rajasthan State Bharat Scouts and Guides at their email ID [email protected] for any emergency the following professionals may be contacted.

Who can participate - At least Nipun Rover/Ranger between 18 to 25 years of age, and having sound health may be selected according to the quota allotted to the State. Without State Headquarters’ deputation letter, no candidate will be admitted.

Scout Guide Welfare Fund - Rs.180/- per head for Rovers & Rangers and Rs.280/- per head for Unit Leaders to be paid at the time of Registration.
What to Bring - Following materials are to be carried by each participants: Two sets of correct and complete uniform as per APRO Part II / III, Bedding, personal clothing's, Toilet requisites, Torch, Water Bottle, Rope, Plate, Mug, Spoon, Writing materials, First Aid kit, Costumes for Cultural Programmes etc.
Financial Assistance - National Headquarters will reimburse travel subsidy maximum @ Rs. 550/- per head or actual whichever is less, on production of train/bus tickets. Free lodging and boarding will be provided during the camp days. Participants from Railway States should ensure utilization of Railway Pass.
Programme & Activities- Group Discussion, Debate, Story writing based on the theme, Folk Dance, Fashion Show, Cultural Programme, WAGGGS Initiative Project Activities, Talent Show (Individual Programme), Skill Training (Block Painting, Mirror Work, Jewellery making), materials to be brought accordingly to the talent show and skill training.
Last Date - The list of selected candidates should reach at the Bharat Scouts and Guides, National Headquarters, New Delhi at [email protected] on or before 10th August, 2019. If your State is not utilizing the allotted quota by 10th August, the additional quota will be allotted to other States. Your state will miss the opportunity.
It is also to state that we may select youths among the participants to represent India in overseas events. Hence participants to be deputed accordingly.
