We are pleased to inform that APR Support Centre of WOSM announces the APR Scout Photo Contest for the year 2021. The contest offers the opportunity for Scout/Guide Members to use their photography skills and contribute to this year’s theme “Unity in Adversity’.

This year’s theme of the APR Scout Photo Contest is Unity in Adversity. With the health crisis still widespread, Scouts/Guides have taken various approaches to address related issues by taking care of themselves, their communities, and their environment.

Scouts/Guides continue to build connection from their homes, within their communities, and for the most part, virtually. Our State Associations are now exploring different options-online virtual events on various youth related programmers & activities, adult leaders training, camp-fires, urban and community gardens, information and educational campaigns, Covid mass awareness campaigns, various innovative and commendable services rendered to fight against the covid pandemic, volunteered in shelter homes, quarantine & isolation centers, addressing the issues of hunger, food distribution, preparation of mass and distribution, maintaining social distances and many more.

With all the remarkable services, our Scouts/Guides and Young Adults in Scouting have been involved in significant projects that are making a great impact in their communities and raising Scouting profile in this area. Through photos, we are giving life to the work that Scouts/Guides are doing across the Country. We look forward to receiving entries capturing shared experiences of Scouts/Guides in action on “Unity in Adversity’

Deadline of submission of entries to the Bharat Scouts and Guides, National Headquarters, New Delhi is 05th June, 2021. The soft copies may please be sent to [email protected] Entries received after 05.06.2021 will not be entertained.

The Bharat Scouts and Guides, National Headquarters will conduct a preliminary screening of all entries received at National Headquarters during 2nd week of June, 2021 and selected entries will be forwarded to APR Support Centre.

At the end of the contest, six winners will be announced by APR, WOSM: One Gold, Two Silver and Three Bronzes. Awards will be presented during the 27th APR Scout Conference in 2022 scheduled in Taiwan, and the winning entries will be featured in Asia Pacific Regional media including the 2022 APR wall calendar and posters.
