Dear Sir/Madam,

We are glad to inform you that the National Rathyatra Service Camp with the Mission of Swachh Bharat Sundar Bharat scheduled to be held at Biswambar Bidyapith, (Chitrakarsahi), Near Cathlic Church, Puri, Odisha from 01st to 05th July, 2019.

The Bharat Scouts and Guides, National Headquarters invite applications of the willing and interested Rovers to render their valuable services voluntarily for the cause of the Society, Community & Nation.

Free hospitality will be provided by the Bharat Scouts and Guides, Odisha State, National Headquarters will recognize the services by awarding National Level Participation Certificate.

The details of the Event are as under:-

Dates - 01st to 05th July 2019

Reporting Date - 01st July 2019 (before lunch)

Departure Date - 05th July 2019 (after lunch)

How to Reach - Trains are available upto Puri. From Puri Railway Station, it is about 02 KM. Share Auto also available.

Who can attend -

Rovers between 15-25 years of age. At least Nipun Stage in Rovering having sound health may be selected according to the quota allotted to the State. Each candidate has to submit Physical Fitness Certificate from the appropriate authority. Unfit candidates should not be selected. Without State Headquarters deputation letter, no candidate will be admitted. 

Note: Without Medical Fitness Certificate, Risk Certificate and deputation letter of the State, Participants will not be admitted in the Camp.

Financial Assistance - Free Hospitality will be provided during the Event. Travelling expenses to borne by the participants. We invite our Rovers, who are dedicated to render their services voluntarily.

Registration Fee - Scout Guide Welfare Fund: Rs.180/- per head for Rovers and Rs. 280/- per head for Unit Leaders to be paid at the time of registration.

What to Bring- Following materials is a must to be carried by each participants: Two sets of correct and complete uniform as per APRO Part II, Track suit, Light Bedding, Ruck- sack, Sleeping mat, Toilet requisites, Torch, Water Bottle, Plate, Mug, Glass, Spoon, Writing materials, First Aid kit, Odomos, Rain Coat, Comfortable Sports Shoe, Lunch Box, P- Cap, Costumes for Cultural Programmes etc.

Risk Certificate- Each candidate has to submit a Risk Certificate (Enclosed) duly attested by the District Commissioner (S) or District Chief Commissioner.

Quota- 04 (Four) Rovers from each State Association.

Application- The list of participating candidates along with risk certificate should reach the State Secretary, Bharat Scouts and Guides, State Headquarters, Odisha State at [email protected] [email protected]  with a copy to The Bharat Scouts and Guides, National Headquarters, New Delhi at e-mail [email protected] on or before 25thJune 2019 without fail.

We request you to select the right and deserving candidates for this event so, as to make this event a grand success. A copy of the service camp rules may be provided to selected Rovers.
