Applications are invited for Internship/Attachment of Rovers/Rangers/Young Unit Leaders to work at National Adventure Institute, Pachmarhi starting from 01.10. 2019. The engagement is for an initial period of 03 months (Short Term) and may be renewed for another three months by mutual agreement.

Location - Bharat Scouts and Guides,

1. National Adventure Institute, Pachmarhi, District. Hoshangabad, Madhya Pradesh.
2. National Youth Adventure Institute, National youth Complex, Gadpuri, Palwal, Haryana
   

Term of office - Three months, From 01.10.2019 to 31.12.2019. (Renewable)

Purpose - To provide opportunities to young members for training in adventure activities, office operations, event management through assigning projects and hands on activities that will enhance the individual’s knowledge and skills in specific areas.

Who can apply - Qualified in any one of the following:-

• Completed Basic/Advanced Course on mountaineering
• Degree /Diploma holder in adventure sports
• Successfully completed National Adventure Programme/ International Adventure Programme of BSG
• Rashtrapati Scout/Guide/Rover/ Ranger.
• Fresh certificate/diploma holder in hotel management/event management/Computer operations
  

No of interns - 10 (combination of male and female) for NAI, Pachmarhi and 05 for NYAI, Gadpuri, Palwal, Haryana

Selection procedure - Selected applicants will invite in an online interview, Director and his team will make final selection.

Type of assignments - The work is desk based, onsite or field work.

Report to - Assistant Director

Location of assignment - National Adventure Institute, Pachmarhi or NYAI Gadpuri.

Age - Between 20 years  to 45 years as on 01.10.2019

Language - Working language at National Adventure Institute are Hindi and English.

Financial  liabilities - Interns will be provided free accommodation at NTC/NAI/NYC. Food will be provided during the programme. Food allowance will be provided during non event days. Travelling allowance (to and fro in sleeper class) after completion of Internship period. In between, no TE will be paid.

Security and Safety - The selected Interns have to give Risk Certificate. In case of any accident or injury, the Bharat Scouts and Guides shall not be responsible. 

Recognition -

1. A National level certificate will be awarded by National Headquarters on successful completion.
2. Recommendation certificate based on performance of internship.
