We are pleased to inform you that an invitation is received from the Bharat Scouts and Guides, Rajasthan State to participate in their National Level Tribal Scout/Guide Jamboreete scheduled to be at Rajasthan State Bharat Scouts and Guides, Divisional Training Centre, Udainiwas, Udaipur from 01^st to 05^th October, 2019.

Details of the Event are as follows:-

Dates - 01^st to 05^th October, 2019

Date of Reporting - 01^st October, 2019 by 10:00 A.M.

Date of Departure - 05^th October, 2019 after lunch

How to Reach - Trains are available up to Ranapratap Nagar Railway Station, Udaipur. From Ranapratap Nagar Railway Station proceed to Lakadwas (event venue). Local Tempo/Auto Ricksaw are available @ Rs 20/- per head from Railway Station to Lakadwas.

Who can attend - Tribal Scouts & Guides of registered Units completed Tritiya Sopan in Scout/ Guide are eligible to participate in the Jamboreete. Preference may be given to Rajya Puraskar/Rashtrapati Scout/Guide Awardees.

Scout Guide Welfare Fund - Each youth (Rover/Ranger) will contribute @ Rs. 180/- per head and Adults will contribute @ Rs. 280/- at the time of registration.

Quota Allocation - Tribal Scouts:- 09+01              Tribal Guides:- 09+01             Total:- 20

Financial Assistance - Rajasthan State Bharat Scouts and Guides will reimburse travel subsidy maximum @ Rs. 550/- per head or actual whichever is less on production of train/Bus ticket. Over writing/cutting in Bus/Train tickets will not be accepted. Participants of Railway State are requested to utilize Railway Pass. Free hospitality will be provided by the host State Association during the event days.

What to Bring - INDIVIDUAL KIT :- Two sets of Correct and complete uniforms as per  APRO- II/III, Toilet requisites, Personal dress, Warm Clothing, Note Book, Pen, Knotting Rope, Sutli, Knife, Personal First Aid Kit, Plate, Glass, Spoon, Torch, Chart Paper, Writing Materials, Warm Bedding, Traditional Costumes for Cultural Programmes, required materials for Traditional Village Fair/ Exhibition, Tribal Food Plaza, Festivals and Rangoli etc.

PATROL KIT: - Patrol Utensils such as Bucket, Jug, Patila, Bucket, Donga, Tasla, Serving Spoon, Kettle, Mug, eating utensils, etc for receiving meals from the Central Mess.  Ground Sheet,, Gadget Items Musical Instrument, Local Costumes for festival and Village fair. Food ingredients for food Plaza etc.

Programme - Patrol Activity:- Traditional Village Fair, Tribal Food Plaza, Village festival, Folk Song, Folk Dances, Traditional Handicraft Village Bazar (Haat), Rangoli, Camp Fire, Exhibition, Craft and Cultural Heritage of Rural and Tribal Areas, Camp-Craft, Pigeon Show etc.

Individual Activity:- Poster Making, Essay Writing, Slogan writing, Public speaking, Marshal Art, Route March, Cultural Exchange and Adventure activities. (Please ensure to carry requisite materials for these activity).

Last Date of Application - The name list of the selected candidates should reach at the Bharat Scouts & Guides, Rajasthan State Headquarters, Jaipur by email at [email protected] with a copy to National Headquarters at [email protected]on or before 15^th September, 2019 with itinerary of the participants.
