CIRCULAR NO. 86/2019 - VILLAGE ADOPTION UNDER PROJECT “SCHOOL CHALENGE DESH BADLENGE”

As per Indian Census 2011 report, 11,03,49,514 youth (age between 3 to 25 years) of our country are not going to school due to various reasons. To reduce these big numbers, Hon’ble Chief National Commissioner of the Bharat Scouts and Guides has taken a special drive under project “School Chalenge Desh Badlenge” in which all the youth of our country starts to go school and enrol his/her name in the school by the help of our Scouts Guides Rovers Rangers.
Our intention is to increase the Scout Guide census as well as to educate India. All the Units should adopt one village in his/her area and make an ideal village in all respect. Rovers and Rangers will look after the progress, beautification, cleanliness, education of the children etc. and help the local families for their all round development.
States may approach to the companies under CSR project and help to create a better community around us and to make educated India.
The states adopt maximum area and increase census related to Grameen Scouting will be awarded with a special recognition. To commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi the project will starts on 2nd October, 2019 and concluded on 30th September, 2020.
Monthly report and photographs as per attached proforma to be sent to National Headquarters with a copy to Regional Headquarters by 10th of every month. The states will submit best two log books at the end of the project to National Headquarters, New Delhi with all documents, photographs and reports by 31st October, 2020.
