You are aware that the Bharat Scouts and Guides, National Headquarters confers various Awards and Decorations to the leaders engaged in promotion of Scout Guide activities at National, State and District level on the basis of the recommendations of State every year.

Recommendations for various Awards are therefore invited in the prescribed proforma attached with this letter for the year 2018-19 for consideration of Award Committee. In this connection, your attention is invited to Chapter VI of the APRO Part I which contains the details of Decorations and Awards sanctioned and authorized by the National Association of Bharat Scouts & Guides. The eligibility conditions for each Award being recommended should also be checked thoroughly to avoid the rejection of application for being not as per requirements of the Award.

You are, therefore, requested to please send the recommendations with details of the accomplishments of the leader being recommended so that the same information may also be included in Citation, if selected for the Award. Any recommendation without full details will not be considered.

Please be strict to the following points.

1. The number of Awards that a State recommends should be as per rules mentioned in the APRO-I, Chapter-VI.
2. Both wings of the Movement are adequately represented.
3. The specific Award being recommended should be clearly mentioned.
4. Each recommendation should be supported with the Log Book of achievement.
5. The recommendation must be by the State Chief Commissioner in consultation with respective State Commissioner and State Executive Committee following the rules mentioned in APRO Part-I, Chapter-VI.
6. A separate Bio-data of applicant must be attached for citation of applicant if selected for the Award.

 The last date for receiving recommendations at the National Headquarters is 15^th November 2019.
