Dear Sir/Madam,

In continuation to our earlier circulars and letters sent to you in connection with outbreak of COVID-19, We take this opportunity to put on record the efforts made by you all in assisting the State/UTs, District and Local administration and agencies to combat the menace of COVID-19. We sincerely appreciate the work done by our Scouts & Guides, Rovers & Rangers and Adult Leaders as COVID warriors.

This is to inform you that recently, NITI Aayog, Govt. of India has come across the work done by two CSO; viz. Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini, Mumbai and Connecting Dream Foundation, Delhi who have come together to launch a platform for establishing a hassle free connect between help seekers and help givers in these challenging situations. The platform called ‘India Cowin Action Network (I-CAN)’ takes help of Goggle maps to locate ‘help seekers’ and ‘help givers’ and thus connect them to locally resolve COVID-19 issues. It gives an opportunity to volunteers to help while being at home and be a “Cowin Warrior” in India’s war against COVID-19. We take this opportunity to appeal to all the State Associations to communicate this matter to all in the District Association as well as Local Association and grassroots to come forward and partner in this initiative. You can visit https://cowinactionnetwork.in and register as partner of I-CAN. Our strong local network and I-CAN platform together can play a great role in providing resources to those who need. We are sure, the joint efforts of “Cowin Warriors”, “Help Givers” and “Help Seekers”, our country can definitely win this battle against COVID-19.
