This is to inform you that the Bharat Scouts and Guides has developed its new website www.scout.ind.in

The website is designed with the latest technology of registration system to register all the bonafide members of the organisation online in Youth Membership Registration System (MYMS) as desired by the World Organisation of the Scout Movement (WOSM) and World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS). This online registration is implemented by all other National Scout Organisations (NSOs) of WOSM and Member Organisations (MOs) of WAGGGS. Therefore, the Bharat Scouts and Guides also has taken up a challenge and target to complete the online registration of our members through youth portal latest by 31st December, 2020 at all level.

In this regard, National Headquarters had organised Regional level Online Membership Registration training last year (2019) from June-September in all the regions. The representative/ representatives deputed by your State Association has actively undergone the online registration training with an expertise to further implement online registration in the State/District/Local/group association.

The Bharat Scouts and Guides, National Headquarters has also provided the online registration username and password to all the State Association to register in the youth portal and further to create the username and password to the respective District Association and District Association to the Local/Group Association for registration of its beneficiaries online in BSG Youth Portal, but the State Associations are yet to comply the same which is a matter of great concern.

The matter of online registration was put forth before the Virtual National Planning Committee in its meeting held on 30.04.2020 where majority of the State Chief Commissioners attended the aforesaid online meeting. The National Planning Committee has unanimously agreed to the proposal that online registration should be completed nationwide in the organisation at all level latest by 31st December, 2020 on priority measures. It is also discussed that after 31st March, 2021 that all Progressive Advancement of the Youths including registration for Rajya Puraskar and Rashtrapati Award will be accepted online only including application for participation to international events, submission of reports etc.

In view of the above, State Associations are requested to kindly issue suitable directives to all the State Online Membership Registration Coordinators/State Membership Growth Coordinators to take up the initiatives of online youth registration on urgency and ensure that all youth members of the organisation are registered online at all level on or before the stipulated target of completion latest by 31st December, 2020 meticulously.

It will be highly appreciated that Hon’ble State chief Commissioners to kindly intervene in this matter personally so that projected target may be achieved without fail.
