To mark the 70th Annual Foundation Day 2020, the Meghalaya Bharat Scouts and Guides had organized an Awareness Week Programme on the theme ―MBSGfigtsCovid-19‖ which was held from the 3rd - 7th November 2020. Several programmes like Route March, Flash Mob and Street Play was orga- nized in both rural and urban areas like Police Bazaar, Smit and Mylliem which were performed by the Rovers and Rangers. Slogan and Poster competition was also organized in which many of the districts have participated actively. An online awareness programme was also held on the 6th November 2020 through Zoom platform and Online Facebook in which Dr. Rapborlang Laloo, Jr. Specialist, O/o District Medical Health Officer, West Khasi Hills, Nongstoin as a Resource Person shared useful information on how to prevent ourselves from the global pandemic.

On the 7th November, a Blood Donation Camp was organized at the SHQ, in collaboration with the In- dian Red Cross Society Meghalaya Branch. During the inauguration of the joint function, several digni- taries were present to witness the programme like Mr. Andrew N. Sawian, General Secretary, IRCS, Doctors from the Pasteur Institute, Shillong, members from the MSGF and so on. The camp was a suc- cess as 37 donors came forward to donate blood. Towards the end of the programme, Mrs. A. Swer shared a motivational speech and made the attendees aware about the ongoing pandemic.
