Dear Sir/Madam,

We are glad to inform you that the Kazakhstan scouts has invited for their 4th National Jamboree of Kazkhstan – “Great Steppe Heritage” which will be held at Nomads Camp campsite, Astana, Kazakhstan.

Details are as follows:

Venue: Nomads Camp Campsite, Astana, Kazakhstan

Arrival at Venue: Participants are expected to arrive on 12th August 2019

Departure from Venue: Depart on 18th August, 2019

Who can attend: 11 to 17 years of age as participants, Composition Patrol 10 people (01 Leader and 09 Scouts) and Young people over 18 years of age can attend as International Service Team Member (IST)

Language: Kazakh and Russian all information will be translated into English

Registration Fee for Youth Participants: USD 60 per person (approx INR 5,000/- including bank charges) (included meal, accommodation in traditional dwellings of Kazakh nomads – yurts, transfer from Astana to Jamboree site and back, Jamboree attributes (Scarf, badge).

Registration Fee for IST (International Service Team): USD 20 per person which includes all benefits (Approx INR 2000/- including bank charges).

What awaits at the Jamboree: Archery, Sword fights, Rope park, Day Trip, Horse riding, Crossing the water barrier on a raft, extreme obstacle course, shooting from a catapult, Folk Kazakh games, Cooking bauyrsak (traditional Kazakh bread) and plov on fire, First aid, Study of folk customs and traditions, Pioneering, Berkutchi (traditional hunting with golden eagles) steppe survival lessons.

Caution Fee: Rs. 5000/- Non- refundable, if selected and not participated, Draft in favour of “ Bharat Scouts and Guides” payable at New Delhi

Air fare & VISA: New Delhi to Astana, Kazakhstan and back approximately Rs. 60,000/-(subject to actual) inclusive of VISA charges.

Last  Date of Application: Since the time is short, preference will be given on “First Come First Serve basis” application of the participating candidates should reach National Headquarters, New Delhi on or before 31st May, 2019 along with a photocopy of valid passport and caution money.

You are requested to encourage candidates and recommend application in prescribed proforma (enclosed) to the National Headquarters, Bharat Scouts and Guides, New Delhi latest by 31st May, 2019.
