Dear Sir/Madam,

As you are all aware, due to prevailing COVID-19 pandemic in the country, wearing of MASK is made mandatory to all the citizens by the Govt. of India as a preventive measure to combat from Corona Virus disease.

In view of the above, The National Planning Committee in its virtual meeting held on 30th April, 2020 took unanimous decision that the Bharat Scouts and Guides will initiate a “Mask Bank” as a national call to support the State/District and Local administration and Govt. of India as a whole in procuring masks during the crucial period of national crisis in combating COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

It was decided that each member of the Bharat Scouts and Guides will prepare at least 10 (Ten) Masks and donate in the “Mask Bank” set-up at State, District or Local level for further handing over of the same to the respective State/District/Local administration.

We are sure all the State Associations has implemented this decision in scout guide spirit and continuing this initiative to supplement the efforts of the government in preparation and distribution of masks.

State Association is requested to kindly communicate the detail records of the mask prepared and distributed as on 31.07.2020 as per attached proforma to the respective regional headquarters latest by 5th August, 2020 so that the same can be consolidated and submitted further to the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India as committed to support by the Bharat Scouts and Guides.
