Dear Sir/Madam,

As per previous practice, the nomination of Lakshmi Mazumdar Award is due for the year 2019-2020. Till now, we are awaiting the nomination from the States.

As per request of some of the State Officials, Lakshmi Mazumdar Award guidelines have been framed to make it easier to understand. A copy of the same is attached herewith.

The last date of nomination is 31/07/2020 but due to COVID-19 Pandemic, now it has been extended up to 31/08/2020 so that we can get good number of nominations from the States. Log book can be submitted by 15/10/ 2020 instead of 30/09/2020.

You are, therefore, requested to kindly motivate the district officials to nominate the units who are working for the community development in their particular area so that through this Award, units will be motivated to do more community development projects.
