Dear Sir/Madam,

In continuation of our circular no. 93 dt. 17.07.2020,  the Bharat Scouts and Guides, National Headquarters along with Rajasthan State Bharat Scouts and Guides and Jawahar Kala Kendra, Art & Culture, Government of Rajasthan jointly organizing Painting and Slogan writing competition on the theme of Covid – 19 on Sunrise Day.

During this pandemic period BSG, NHQ has organized various activities and competitions virtually that have been great successes in motivating the Scouts and Guides. In continuation of this initiative, Rajasthan State Association of the Bharat Scouts and Guides intends to organize a month-long cultural campaign titled “SCOUTS GUIDES - 2020 AGAINST COVID-19” beginning with Scout Scarf Day/Scouting Sunrise Day on 1st August, 2020 on the following themes:

1. Painting Competition on the theme of “Fighting against Covid-19”
2. Slogan Competition on the theme of Covid-19

Scouts, Guides, Rovers and Ranger in the age group of 14 to 25 years will be eligible to take part in the competition. The competition will be separate for Scout Wing and Guide Wing.

The best 2 Paintings & Slogans selected from each wing and each category in final round will be given cash awards of Rs. 11,000/- and Rs. 6,100/- to first and second winners.  All selected paintings & slogans will be displayed in the gallery of Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK), Art & Culture, Government of Rajasthan for one week. Online Certificate will be given to all participants.

Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK) is a prestigious institute to promote art, culture and heritage. Director General of JKK – cum Secretary, Art & Culture, Government of Rajasthan has given consent to give all support to conduct the event.

You are requested to inform all the Scouts, Guides, Rovers and Rangers in the eligible age group to participate in this competition. The guidelines are enclosed herewith.
