Dear Sir/Madam,

This is to inform you that the amendments in Rules pertaining to virtual meetings of National Council/State Council/District Council and Executive Committees to be organised with a 07 and 03 days’ notice respectively in emergency situation, was put-forth before the National Executive Committee in its meeting held on 11th June, 2020.

The National Executive Committee in its meeting held on 11th June, 2020 unanimously accepted the virtual meeting of National Council/State Council/District Council and Executive Committees can be organised with a 07 and 03 days’ notice respectively in emergency situation and it was also agreed to take post-facto sanction of the National Council and recommended that the same can be implemented with immediate effect in this Covid-19 pandemic.

Similarly, the same was put forth under ATR in the recent virtual National Executive Committee meeting held on 15th Sept. 2020 which is unanimously approved by the House.

In view of the above, State Associations who are due to organise such meetings can organise virtually in this Covid situation. Only for the election, physical meeting of State Council is required subject to provision given by State Govt. in its guidelines.

These orders come into effect from the date of approval of the National Executive.
