Dear Sir/Madam,

It is our desire to prepare a talent singing group for Scouts/ Guides Songs; hence National Headquarters is organizing community singing Course. Details of the Course are as follows:-

Dates - 1-7 Sept. 2019

Date of Reporting - 1st September before lunch

Date of Departure - 7th September after lunch

Who can Participate -

1. Unit Leaders who are interested in music with good voice, and knowledge of vocal & instrument music.
2. He/She should be proficient in Singing.
3. He/She should be able to read and write English and Hindi.

Scout/Guide Welfare Fund - Rs. 280/- per head is to be paid at the time of Registration. Free Hospitality will be provided during the camp.

Financial Assistance - 2nd Sleeper Class Concessional Train Fare and actual Ordinary/ Express Bus Fare (Where there are no train services) maximum up to Rs.550/- whichever is less will be reimbursed by the National Headquarters on production of photocopy of Train Tickets and Bus Tickets in original along with the T.E. Bill). No Deluxe/AC Fare will be reimbursed. Only shortest route fare will be reimbursed. Auto/Taxi fare is not admissible.

Quota - Each State may depute 02 (Two) Unit Leaders one from each wing.     

What to Bring - Following materials are to be carried by each participant: Two sets of correct and complete uniform as per APRO Part-II/III, Personal requisite, Costumes for Cultural Programme. Each participant should bring as many Scout/Guide songs they know and those who can play musical instruments they may bring them.

You are requested to send the names of your participants in the prescribed format (enclosed) to the  National Headquarters on or before 31st July 2019 otherwise the quota will be allotted to other state.

Note: Please ensure that the participants deputed for the event should have a good knowledge of music and should be proficient in singing so that he/she can help in recording of songs.
