What can Scouts Guides do?
- As a first step, we can all start by simply switching off our lights and devices on 27 March for one hour, from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
- There’s lots more you can do too, before, during and beyond Earth Hour! You can participate in Earth Hour by joining the Earth Tribe, choosing your path and taking the challenges to earn each badge! You can also advocate to protect nature, from your own home.
- As Scouts, we’re committed to the environment in our everyday actions. During this campaign, we work together to speak up for nature at the same time, resulting in strong advocacy for a healthy planet on a global scale.
- Once you’re done, tell us about your contributions to Earth Hour by posting on social media using the hashtag #EarthHour while tagging @WorldScouting for a chance to be featured on our channels!
Further, don’t forget to use the hash tags #bsgindia#Scouts and #Connect2Earth or #EarthHour on social media to post photos/Videos of Scouts Guides in actions.
