We are pleased to inform you that The Scout Donation Platform is a new global online social donation platform dedicated to Scouts by the World Organisation of the Scout Movement (WOSM). It helps National Scout Organizations, State/District/Local Associations and Scout groups to fund their projects by engaging with the existing donor and supporter base via social media. Unlike other social funding platforms, there are no fees involved, so 100% of the funds collected are channeled to the successful projects.

The platform allows Scouts to raise money for their project, share and inspire others with their own story, and provides an opportunity for them to transform their ideas into reality, funding their projects and helping further Scouting's vision of creating a better world for everyone. This is the 1st crowd funding platform dedicated to Scouts! The Scout Donation Platform helps Scouts around the world to fundraise money for their projects and help create positive change in their communities.

Project Objective: Introduce Scouting into the world of social funding, allowing the NSOs/NSAs to fund their national and/or local projects by engaging the existing donor base as well as attract new donors globally by utilising power of social media. The Scout Donation Platform is a Kick-starter tailored to Scout projects, an online social funding platform, Utilizing power of social media, Support for both national/state and local projects.

Advantages/Benefits: Unit can raise money for its projects, engage existing donor and supporter base, access new source of funding, promote your projects, develop skills of strategy, marketing and fundraising, promote your projects, develop skills of strategy, marketing and fundraising.

State Associations of the Bharat Scouts and Guides are requested to give wider publicity of this first ever Scout Donation Platform initiated by the World Organisation of the Scout Movement (WOSM) to support Scouts at all levels. Please note that after the receipt of the project grant from crowd funding, 50 ?vance will be released to the State Association and final reimbursement will be made only on receipt on Final

Project Report, Action Photographs, Links of project report uploaded in scout.org and Utilization Certificate.

The project can be uploaded by the State directly and information may kindly be communicated to NHQ as per attached proforma within a week after uploading of the project in scout donation platform as stated above. NHQ will approve the project if justified after the clearance from WOSM.

State Association is requested to kindly promote your projects and inspire Scouts from all over the State to take action, raise money from a social funding tool to help ensure Scout Community Service Actions to become a reality and engage with your community for the innovative task. No any Fee is chargeable.
