for SDGs is an unprecedented mobilisation of our Movement that will see 50 million Scouts make the world’s largest coordinated youth contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. Already, Scouts have made an extraordinary contribution to the SDGs by delivering more than one billion hours of service to tackle the most pressing issues facing our communities. From supporting grassroots peace efforts in Colombia and Syrian refugees in Turkey and Greece, to providing access to clean water for schoolchildren in South Sudan – Scouts are creating change around the world. Scouts for SDGs will further this effort to engage young people in delivering two million local projects and contribute an additional three billion hours of service for the SDGs by 2030. Scouts for SDGs is the response of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) to the World Scout Conference resolution requesting a stronger, more coordinated contribution to the SDGs at all levels.
